Hooperman has had a whirlwind year. He’s the Shamrock Rovers mascot turned celebrity children’s entertainer. He’s also my nephew, and a success story to beat the band.
I had the enlightening experience of chauffeuring him around on Saturday (bodyguard as well) to two of his parties. It was like having a green and white Justin Bieber in the car and we were mobbed as we pulled into his first gig in the Astro Park in Tallaght. He’s become quiet a celebrity and the must have party piece at children’s parties.
